IGLYO Study Visit to the European Parliament
Are you ready to learn more about the EU and the European Parliament, their decision-making procedures, and how to influence them? Do you want to meet with Members of the European Parliament and learn how to engage with them? This study visit has been designed exactly for this.
IGLYO's mission is to strengthen the rights of LGBTQI youth, fight for equality and inclusion, and empower LGBTQI youth voices. IGLYO represents the diverse rights and intersectional needs of LGBTQI young people and works hard to ensure that their futures are bright.
As part of our efforts to build the capacities of our membership in different areas and to support their policy and advocacy actions, we have designed this study session to connect a few selected representatives of our member organisations with the European Parliament, and to help them understand how to interact with European institutions as a tool for their advocacy work.
Participants of this event were selected through a closed call disseminated to specific IGLYO member organisations. To be able to participate in this event, you need to have been selected by IGLYO through this open-call procedure. If you were selected for this event, please first book your travel according to our Travel Reimbursement Policy, then register through this form by Sunday 17 November 2024 at 23:59 CEST.
The IGLYO Study Visit to the European Parliament is organised by IGLYO with the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 programme of the European Union, and the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
