About the IGLYO Annual Members' Conference Podgorica 2023

Our IGLYO Annual Members' Conference 2023 brought together over 70 LGBTQI young activists from more than 30 countries in Podgorica, Montenegro, for an amazing journey together! After holding the AMC online in 2020 and 2021, and hosting it in the IGLYO office's home city of Brussels in 2022, this AMC was our first organised on the ground with a local host since the 2019 AMC in Helsinki.

After a number of years of disruption we were beyond excited to visit Podgorica, attend Montenegro Pride, and work with and get to know our host organisation Queer Montenegro. We are abundantly thankful to Queer Montenegro for joining us on this journey, welcoming us with open arms, and helping us deliver an unforgettable AMC experience for our participants.

From lively statutory discussions to the General Assembly and Board Elections, all the way to insightful Members-led workshops and fun social activities, these three days gave us food for thought and brought our international family of LGBTQI youth activists even closer together.

We thank our Members and all the delegates who joined us in Podgorica and contributed with their thoughts and experience. As we approach our 40th anniversary next year it is beyond exciting to see how the IGLYO network has developed in these four decades, and we're excited for the future of our network and movement. We have a lot planned for our 40th anniversary, as well as a big celebration at AMC 2024, so keep your eyes on IGLYO.

We also thank the speakers and workshop facilitators, as well as our AMC Chair, former IGLYO Co-Chair Mina Jack Tolu, Board, Staff Team and Anti-Racism Task Force for their hard work and devotion. And a special thank you to our funders, the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 programme of the European Union, and the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture & Science for making the AMC possible.

In this report, you will find the voting results of the General Assembly, discover new Member Organisations, meet our new Board Members, as well as get some insights into the AMC through photos and quotes.

The IGLYO AMC Podgorica is organised by IGLYO and Queer Montenegro with the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 programme of the European Union and the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture & Science.
