Amanita Calderón-Cifuéntes is a Colombian scientist and trans-activist renowned for her work in trans rights advocacy. With over a decade of research in microbiology and cellular stress response, her work focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights, particularly infectious diseases like HIV, TB, and Hepatitis. Her expertise as a Microbiologist and personal experience as a person living with HIV inform her work and advocacy efforts. Amanita worked at Gilead Sciences for a span of a year and a half on different projects aimed at educating the general public about HIV and Serophobia. She then began her position as an HIV Research and Advocacy Officer at Transgender Europe, where she serves as an expert for other global health organizations such as UNAIDS, the WHO, and the ECDC, advocating for policy changes that support at-risk trans communities. At TGEU, her main task is to lead research on SRHR and address issues surrounding violence, discrimination, and harassment against trans people globally.

Yuri Yoursky is a Ukraine-born and Estonia-based LGBTI activist. Yuri holds a master's degree in international relations and Europe-Asian studies, and he is obtaining a Ph.D. in Public Administration with a research topic of “Sustainable Organizational Development of Small Non-Profit NGOs”. Currently, Yuri works at ILGA World and previously served the LGBTI communities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia as a Programs Lead of ECOM – Eurasian Coalition on Health, Rights, Gender and Sexual Diversity. Previously, Yuri was part of the IGLYO (2018-2020) and ILGA-Europe (2020-2022) Boards. Currently, he acts as a Board member at GNP+ (Global Network of People Living with HIV), as a person living 11 years with HIV. Yuri is also a certified trainer on combatting stigma and discrimination.
