IGLYO 40th Anniversary Annual Members' Conference Ljubljana 2024

Thanks for celebrating 40 Years of Queer Youth Activism with Us!

Co-hosted by our local Members ŠKUC Magnus​​, Legebitra​​, TransAkcija​​, DIH​​, and Moja Mavrica​, our IGLYO Annual Members' Conference 2024 brought together over 90 LGBTQI young activists from 35 countries in Ljubljana, Slovenia​​.

From lively statutory discussions to the General Assembly, all the way to insightful Members-led workshops and fun social activities, these days gave us food for thought and brought our international family of LGBTQI youth activists even closer together.

This year was even more special as we celebrated 40 years since our beginning in 1984.

As part of the celebrations we held an array of special events to mark this occasion including our 40th Anniversary Exhibition in Ljubljana City Hall, a 40th Birthday Bash, and a panel discussion with alumni from across the 40 years of IGLYO history.

We thank our Members and all the delegates who joined us in Ljubljana and contributed with their thoughts and experience. As we look past this anniversary and toward the future of IGLYO, we are energised and ready to face the challenges ahead. We are proud of the diverse and passionate network that we continue to develop.

The IGLYO AMC Ljubljana 2024 is co-organised by IGLYO and local Members ŠKUC Magnus​, DIH​, Moja Mavrica​, TransAkcija​, and Legebitra, with the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 2021-2027 programme of the European Union and the Dutch Ministry of Education Culture & Science.
