IGLYO will provide many board games for you to choose amongst and play at the hotel.

Right before we officially kick off the AMC 2024, come and meet us at the registration desk to check in, pick up your badge, and ask any questions you may have about the AMC.

Please come to register as early as possible to ensure we register everyone smoothly and start the day on time. This is also when you'll get the chance to sign up for the Member-led Workshops of your choice, so don't risk losing your spot (first come, first served!).

The two options are:

✨Tackling the Anti-Transgender Movement in Our Way l  Sanjiboni Sudha (She/Her), Inclusive Bangladesh CIC, UK

This workshop draws on the facilitator’s own experience as an organiser of Trans & Intersex Pride Dublin. Participants will learn about how organisers have dealt with far right disruptions, raised funds outside of corporate opportunities, making pride accessible, building solidarity with other grassroots organisations, etc. This workshop is for any activist itching for something more than the corporate rainbow fest Pride has come to represent.

Here, Pride as a protest is not just some abstract debate but a reality within our grasp. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share their own experiences and draw inspiration from each other. To attend this workshop, please write your name in one of the cells below (Max 40 people).

This workshop will provide space for participants to get creative without any pressure to create something "good". Through various writing games, both group and individual, we will get creative writing juices flowing and enjoy some quality writing time without any expectations for results. The workshop is participant-led and participants can choose what they want to write about, allowing all to express themselves and the topics they are passionate about.

The workshop is broken up into activities that last 10-15 minutes which allow people to participate both by just writing, or — if they wish — sharing their writing with the rest of the group.  To attend this workshop, please write your name in one of the cells below (Max 40 people).

✨Queering Asylum in the EU l Artemis Akbary (all pronouns), Executive Director at ALO: Afghanistan LGBTIQ+ Organization, Czech Republic


This workshop will explore the unique challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers and refugees in Europe. Participants will learn about the specific threats and discrimination these individuals encounter, both in their home countries and within the EU asylum system. Participants will discuss barriers such as lack of understanding of LGBTIQ+ issues among asylum officials, cultural stigmatisation, and the need for safe housing.

The workshop will also present practical recommendations for improving conditions and ensuring better protection and support for LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers, fostering a more inclusive and equitable asylum process in the EU. This workshop will explore the essentials of podcasting, covering technical aspects like editing and equipment, as well as the psychological considerations for creating inclusive content. Participants will learn how to produce high-quality podcasts that amplify LGBTQI voices, focusing on storytelling techniques, sound design, and mental wellness in media creation. ✨ Closing Party in Klub Tiffany

Put your party shoes on and join us in Klub Tiffany for an unforgettable Closing Party of the conference. This time the Klub will be privatised until midnight for us to celebrate the end of an incredible four days together!

✨ Watching of the documentary commemorating 35 years of the LGBT+ movement in Slovenia

The 1984 Magnus Festival in ŠKUC, Ljubljana, marked a milestone for the Slovenian LGBT movement and the start of the Ljubljana LGBT film festival, the oldest film festival in Europe. A strong club culture (unique in the former Yugoslavia) and numerous events and festivals left a significant mark on those early years.

That's it, time to head back home. The AMC 2024 is done. Depending on your flight time you may want to coordinate with fellow attendees to find some fun on your last day in Ljubljana!
