Microaggressions are one of the main causes leading to discontent for people working in teams or in social settings. They happen everywhere and all the time. Although they tend to be ignored, they have a tremendous impact on individuals and human relationships. Another secret about microaggressions is that we all do them!

This is why it's important to recognise them, to learn how to address and prevent them, and to also meet people's resistance and fear of too much regulation.

IGLYO invites you to join us for a quick and interactive online workshop on Wednesday 30 November 2022 at 14:00 CET (Brussels time) in English (with automatic subtitles), where we will explore together the macro world of microaggressions. Together with other LGBTQI young activists from around the world, we will discuss and learn about:

  • What microaggressions are
  • What it feels like to experience and commit them
  • Skills and strategies to address and prevent them

The workshop is open to everyone above 18 years old, and will last for 60-70 minutes. Please be prepared to engage and contribute, as we will have interactive conversations and activities. You can register here.
